Helping 1 million children thrive by 2030

At Biobe, we’re committed to closing the gap in pediatric mental health care.

Our mission is to reach 1 million children by 2030 with ethical, evidence-based, and innovative tools that enhance early screening, increase mental health literacy, and empower the full circle of care—pediatricians, parents, and all those supporting child wellbeing from the very start.

Our Story

At Biobe, we’re driven by the urgent—and growing—need to support children’s mental health from the very start.

Even before the 2021 joint declaration from the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Children’s Hospital Association, which declared a national emergency in child and adolescent mental health, our team had already begun building the tools we wished existed: accessible, evidence-informed solutions that meet families and providers where they are.

Our work focuses especially on internalizing disorders, such as anxiety and depression, which often go unnoticed in young children. We believe early detection and intervention shouldn't rely solely on brief conversations or delayed referrals. That’s why we’ve spent years developing and validating tools that combine science, compassion, and usability—designed for real-world families, clinicians, and care systems.

We’re not just responding to the crisis.
We’ve been working to change the story.

Improving quality of life and building
resiliency starting in the earliest years.

At Biobe, we design tools that help families, educators, and healthcare providers recognize and respond to early signs of mental health concerns. Our approach combines objective measures of a child’s biobehavioral responses with trusted insights from caregivers and observers, creating a more accurate and holistic view of child wellbeing. From personalized recommendations for clinicians to guided activities that build emotional resilience at home, our tools are designed to support early intervention—right when it matters most.

Who we support

Biobe is a mission-led team of clinicians, researchers, and engineers working to make early mental health support more accurate, accessible, and actionable for every child.
